Description Hussam Al-Tayeb 2017-09-30 20:04:44 UTC
On the distribution I use (arch linux), the cantarell and dejavu fonts are identified with mimetypes font/otf and font/ttf respectively.
The thumbmailer ignores them. adding "font/otf;font/ttf;" to the thumbnailer file fixes it.
Comment 1 Cosimo Cecchi 2017-10-04 19:02:09 UTC
Thanks, I just pushed a fix for this to master and gnome-3-26.

Comment 3 Hussam Al-Tayeb 2018-04-02 11:23:30 UTC
I'm confused. I see that message too but nautilus property sheet says
"OpenType font (font/otf)" and thumbnailing works as well after Cosimo's fix.
Comment 4 Jeremy Bicha 2018-04-02 11:30:19 UTC
It looks like desktop-file-utils needs an update, not just shared-mime-info.
