Description jfblagden 2017-09-29 00:16:09 UTC
By default, screenshots are filed away to ~/Pictures. This is a hair more organized than MacOS putting screenshots on the desktop, but it's still not great. Both approaches create clutter. The Mac approach clutters the desktop, while the current GNOME approach clutters the Pictures folder.

I think one of two things should be done to rectify this:
1. Screenshots should be stored in ~/Pictures/Screenshots
2. The user should be able to easily choose where they want screenshots stored.

I think option #1 would be the best, but option #2 could be alright - depending on how it's handled.
