GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 788239
Adding new Items to Nextcloud throws "415 (Unsupported Media Type): Sabre\DAV\Exception\UnsupportedMediaType"
Last modified: 2017-09-29 12:28:10 UTC
OS: Ubuntu 17.10 "beta" Nextcloud Version: 11.x, integrated via GOA Gnome-Online-Accounts Version: 3.26.0-1ubuntu1 When I try to add a new contact, a new appointment or a new task via Evolution I get the error message: "... 415 (Unsupported Media Type): Sabre\DAV\Exception\UnsupportedMediaType ...". When trying the same via Gnome-Contacts or Gnome-Calendar a similar error message appears. I might be wrong but I assume gnome-online-accounts has a bug with managing nextcloud accounts. Synchronizing content from the server works fine.
Are you able to mount your Nextcloud storage in nautilus?
Yes, the nautilus integration of nextcloud works perfect not problems there.
Thanks for a bug report. I believe this is due to evolution-data-server's WebDAV structure using Transfer-Encoding:chunked in 3.26.0+ for PUT requests. This had been changed recently within bug #787656, thus I mark this as a duplicate of it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 787656 ***
