Description Atri 2017-09-25 13:36:21 UTC
Using the on-screen-keyboard on Xorg makes it impossible to input Level 2 characters, neither when using the shift-key (capital letters show up on the osk, but the input upon key-press is still a small letter), nor when using the symbol-modifier on the osk. So, I am unable to input characters like '?' (input as '/' from the osk), '!' (input as '1'), '@' (input as '2'), and so on. On the other hand, on wayland, everything seems to work correctly.

Seems similar to bug #777468.

Yes, thanks. It does seem so. I am not marking it as a dup, just in case. I would be fine if you or any other developer marked it as such.
