Description Alicia Boya García 2017-09-22 12:34:58 UTC
The following Opus audio sample shows a considerable white noise while the person is talking when played with a GStreamer player.

https://people.xiph.org/~greg/opus_testvectors/correctness_gain_loud_speech.opus

Such artifact does not appear when the same file is played with a ffmpeg-based player such as mpv or Google Chrome.

Indeed, it seems like some kind of noise suppression has to happen here.
Comment 2 Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2017-09-22 14:48:25 UTC
Should be checked if there's a flag for libopus, or generally how ffmpeg sets up libopus differently.
