Description Max Zhao 2017-09-14 16:49:02 UTC
When connecting with openVPN (via nm-applet), after a connection has been established, the VPN icon with a lock is shown for a split second and is afterwards replaced with the no-connection or connection-offline icon. This behavior is consistent across themes (regardsless default Adwaita or hicolor). The connection is via wifi.

Expected behavior: VPN icon should be shown.

nm-applet version 1.8.2
networkmanager 1.8.3
networkmanager-openvpn 1.2.10

I would like to contribute more information, but I am unsure how I can debug the nm-applet. I would be very grateful for any advice.
