Description Hamid 2017-09-09 16:58:55 UTC
Hello GnuCash!

The Persian currency symbol is showing correctly which is nice but why is it two of them everywhere??!

Probably related to these:

Bug 725512 - The official symbol for Canadian dollar is "$", not "C$"
Bug 723145 - Currency display does not respect locale

Oh, it was a typo. Thanks for your report.

This problem has been fixed in commit b9d6e02 of our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Once that release is available, you may want to check for a software upgrade provided by your Linux distribution.

Same bug appears in the Android app. Are they connected in the source so the fix will propagate to the app as well? Or should I file a similar bug report for the app?
Comment 5 Frank H. Ellenberger 2017-09-16 13:23:35 UTC
I never looked in the sources of the Android app. So you might file it at https://github.com/codinguser/gnucash-android/issues too and link this bug report.
