Description Sebastien Bacher 2017-09-01 16:17:26 UTC
Using GNOME 3.25.90

- open gedit
- go to nautilus
- open a text file

under Xorg the new document is opened in a tab in gedit and the existing gedit instance is raised, under wayland there is no feedback that the document has been opened and gedit stays in the background
