Description djcomidi 2017-08-27 18:29:17 UTC
A crash occurs when a PDF file gets updated with fewer pages than current page number

Steps to reproduce
------------------
1) open in evince any PDF that has N+1 pages
2) go to page N+1
3) leave evince open, but overwrite the same file with a PDF that has N pages

Actual result
-------------
Evince becomes unresponsive for some seconds, then a crash occurs.

Expected result
---------------
The contents of the updated PDF should be shown, preferably the last page.

Build date & hardware
---------------------
Running XUbuntu 16.04 LTS on an iMac 27" (2011)

Additional info
---------------
A crash report already has been sent using the xubuntu crash reporter, but I couldn't add any info to it.
