Description Thilo 2002-04-14 09:21:39 UTC
Pan should read the GNOME config to select the prefered web-browser.
Comment 1 Charles Kerr 2002-04-19 23:17:06 UTC
I'll add a `default Gnome browser' check, which will be the default
for new users, if Pan is built with Gnome dependencies in 0.12.x.

The reason I'm skirting the issue a little is that we're working
on a Windows port for 0.12.0, and I dont think looking for the Gnome
browser is going to work there. ;)
Comment 2 Charles Kerr 2002-06-10 21:33:11 UTC
moving feature requests to 0.13.0.
0.12.x releases will be used for bugfixes.
Comment 3 Charles Kerr 2002-07-04 22:12:03 UTC
This is post-0.13.0, probably 0.14.0
Comment 4 Martin Tomasek 2002-07-31 10:02:46 UTC
gnome-moz-remote (first in list of browsers in pan) is part of gnome.
afaik it will run default gnome browser too.
Comment 5 Miguel Ibarra 2004-04-28 19:34:09 UTC
gnome-moz-remote will always open mozilla.
gnome-open on the other hand will use the user's browser.

I'm attatching a patch to use gnome-open.
