Can you try upgrading to gnome-core-1.4.0.6 and gnome-libs-1.4.1.4 and
see if that helps?

Well, Heath, gnome-core was as you can see already at 1.4.0.6, but
what version of gnome-libs do you use Jamie?
Comment 3 Jamie Zawinski 2002-04-20 08:34:29 UTC
> what version of gnome-libs do you use Jamie?

Whatever red-carpet gives me; today it's
gnome-libs-1.4.1.5-1.ximian.2 but I have run red-carpet
since this crash (dunno if gnome-libs got upgraded or not.)
Comment 4 Kjartan Maraas 2002-04-20 20:02:03 UTC
Is the crash sporadic or reproducable?
Comment 5 Jamie Zawinski 2002-04-20 22:31:20 UTC
It happened twice in a row, then not again.
But, I don't log out/in very often.
