Description Mel 2017-07-27 20:35:15 UTC
Created attachment 356486 [details]
image that cannot be displayed.

Distribution: Arch Linux
Image Viewer Version: 3.24.1

Image Viewer fails to display this image. Complains about "Unsupported number of color components (1)". I've encountered this issue dozens of times before.

Image (also attached): https://i.imgur.com/NdXxW3t.jpg

Steps to reproduce
Save the image, try to open it.

Expected behaviour
I'd expect to see it.

Other information
This image opens fine if pretty much every other viewer I've tried: feh, sxiv, Pix, GIMP etc. Every web browser can open it as well (Firefox and Chromium for example).

I can reproduce with gdk-pixbuf2-2.36.7-1.fc26.x86_64 and eog-3.24.1-1.fc26.x86_64.
