Description Benjamin Berg 2017-07-26 14:03:48 UTC
Sometimes while interacting with windows I stop being able to use the keyboard with them. Switching away to another application and back again will fix the issue.
I think this has mostly happened with epiphany for me, but I just had this issue with glade (after adding a label). I think it might be related to a dialog/menu of the same application opening and closing.

I do realize that this is not enough information yet and that it may also be a mutter issue. The ancient and unresolved bug #489200 seems somewhat similar.

I'll add more information as I learn more about this issue.

Wild guess, maybe duplicate of https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=784314 ?

More likely it is the DND bug #786848. Better description there.

I tend to select text that I am reading, so a failing DND action is a pretty good explanation for what I was seeing.
