GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 784855
Night Light on Dual Monitors
Last modified: 2017-10-03 00:26:21 UTC
Night light color change not being applied to the secondary display. Is only ever applied to the display marked as "Primary". On Fedora 26, using latest included versions. gnome-shell 3.24.2-1.fc26 gnome-color-manager 3.24.0-1.fc26
Can confirm. I noticed that in Settings -> Colors, only one monitor shows. Additionally, running colormgr get-devices shows only one monitor. Here's the output if it's of any use: Object Path: /org/freedesktop/ColorManager/devices/xrandr_Acer_Technologies_R240HY_T4BAA0012400_steelcowboy_1000 Owner: steelcowboy Created: August 17 2017, 05:03:51 PM Modified: August 17 2017, 05:03:51 PM Type: display Enabled: Yes Embedded: No Model: R240HY Vendor: Acer Serial: T4BAA0012400 Seat: seat0 Scope: temp Colorspace: rgb Device ID: xrandr-Acer Technologies-R240HY-T4BAA0012400 Profile 1: icc-895743129084eb16504b3bdfc7b96c3a /home/steelcowboy/.local/share/icc/edid-cdf0533863023acc9ccc442d0d09368e.icc Profile 2: icc-5a745dd26e0c190116c14fd17fe69625 /var/lib/gdm/.local/share/icc/edid-cdf0533863023acc9ccc442d0d09368e.icc Profile 3: icc-73bcc52622b344ac90ce5bbb709d7c41 /var/lib/gdm/.local/share/icc/edid-2997566b03f5ca810f020a7720daed87.icc Metadata: XRANDR_name=HDMI-1 Metadata: OutputPriority=primary Metadata: OwnerCmdline=/usr/libexec/gsd-color Metadata: OutputEdidMd5=cdf0533863023acc9ccc442d0d09368e
