Browse this

1. Browse r.htm
2. Place the pointer on the link and right click.
3. Note "Copy" is in black, not gray, in the menu, so click it.
4. Hear a beep.

Now do CTRL-A to select all the text. Now steps 2 through 4 work fine.

Midori works fine: it shows Copy as grey, so the user cannot select it.
Firefox doesn't even show it in the menu.

Only after CTRL-A do other browser show it in the menu.

The problem is only in the right click menu. The three line "hamburger" menu does not have the problem.

In fact you don't even need to browse a file. Just do CTRL+T to get a new tab, and then right click. There is Copy, activated for no reason in the menu.

It is just more distressing when we are upon a link, thinking it will copy the link text.

I dunno what's causing this in 3.22, but in 3.24 this is bug #772106.
