Description ken 2002-04-11 10:28:31 UTC
Package: galeon
Severity: blocker
Version: 0.11.3
Synopsis: Galeon crashed after installation
Bugzilla-Product: galeon
Bugzilla-Component: general

Description:
Right after hitting the "Finish" button of the Galeon installation program (towards my first use of it), a window came up saying that Galeon had crashed and asking if I wanted to submit a bug report. I clicked on yes to submit a bug report and got to this Bug Description window. Galeon is currently onscreen. When it came up, it said that it couldn't find sourceforge.net. Immediately after this is when the crash message window came up. If it matters, the Galeon window doesn't refresh itself; that is, if I drag another window over it, the images of that window remain in Galeon... sort of like the window is a paint brush and Galeon is a canvas. "Painting" over the toolbar section of Galeon just "erases" the text and icons there, leaving only the background color (the grey and white fields.

Thanks,
Ken Fisler
