Hello! Right now, users are allowed to set a profile picture through the non-free Gravatar service. Would it be possible to allow doing the same with Libravatar, which is a similar, but freedom-respecting service? (See link below.)

Could you start a thread on the gnome-i18n mailing list about that change?
There are currently 137 DL accounts using the gravatar feature.

A thread was started several days back and has attracted one reply so far (which was positive). As an interesting excerpt, I found a page which claims that implementing support should be very simple and very similar to what's being done for Gravatar. (See link below.)
