Description brashley46 2017-05-09 20:10:34 UTC
Teh GUI starts normally at fullscreen, but on clicking on a newsgroup with long entry names (e.g. alt.binaries.music.classical it will expand sideways to the right, more than filling the screen, and will not allow correction.
Specific OS is Xubuntu 17.04, screen resolution is 1440x900.

Thanks for taking the time to report this.

Does the problem still persist with Pan 0.143?
Comment 2 brashley46 2017-12-29 22:53:59 UTC
I am currently running 0.142, and the problem persists. It happens less often, though. (The Ubuntu repos have not yet updated to 0.143.) Now running Xubuntu 17.10.
Comment 3 Petr Kovar 2017-12-29 23:01:51 UTC
You might want to try Pan builds from https://launchpad.net/~klaus-vormweg/+archive/ubuntu/pan.
Comment 4 brashley46 2017-12-30 00:22:23 UTC
Thanks; that build runs, now we shall see whether it solves the problem.
