GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 782372
Clearer way to select a page
Last modified: 2017-05-10 15:13:40 UTC
Right now it's not 100% which page is selected. This has some unfortunate consequences - it means that there isn't a strong hierarchy to the UI, which in turn means that it's hard to situate document-level versus page-level actions. In some cases, it isn't clear which page the rotate and crop actions will act on. One way to resolve this would be to use a sidebar for switching between pages: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-mockups/master/document-scanner/document-scanner.png This creates opportunities for other UI improvements further down the line: * Page-level editing actions, using an action bar * Page numbering * A document-level "Start Again..." button, to replace the current new document button
Can you make a icon/svg of the background image and attach it here?
