Description Christian Hergert 2017-05-03 22:16:35 UTC
I'm on Fedors 26, with gnome-boxes-3.24.0-1.fc26.x86_64

[christian@stardust christian]$ gnome-boxes

(gnome-boxes:17574): Libvirt.GObject-CRITICAL **: gvir_storage_vol_get_info: assertion 'GVIR_IS_STORAGE_VOL(vol)' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
[christian@stardust christian]$ GDK_BACKEND=x11 gnome-boxes

(gnome-boxes:17714): Libvirt.GObject-CRITICAL **: gvir_storage_vol_get_info: assertion 'GVIR_IS_STORAGE_VOL(vol)' failed
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I tried adding a Windows 10 VM (selecting the ISO, click next a couple of times). The VM failed to start, so I closed Boxes and tried to reopen it and ran into this issue.

I can confirm this also happens on Arch
Comment 2 Jonius 2017-11-11 11:51:38 UTC
I ran into the same issue directly after installing on Ubuntu 17.10.
