GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 782094
Night light mode doesn't use the right hours
Last modified: 2017-05-03 05:37:07 UTC
I'm not sure if this is the right place where to put t his bug but well. I am on CEST (GMT+2, the S stands for summer) and the night mode was manually set to stop at 6 A.M.. I started working a bit before 5 A.M. (don't judge me :p ) and the night light mode stopped at 5 instead of 6. I fiddled with the params and noticed that the time is constantly I hour off and I should put the stopping time at $LOCAL_TIME + 1:01 to get the night light mode on. Because of the 1 hour difference I suspected a misuse of daylight saving time, but on CET (winter time) it would currently be 4 A.M. and changing the date doesn't solve this.
