GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 781874
autostart: Set NoDisplay=true
Last modified: 2017-04-28 12:17:34 UTC
Ubuntu has been shipping this patch for several years. Ubuntu still ships the Startup Applications app removed from gnome-session. Once this bug is fixed, this change will benefit other distros too: https://github.com/mate-desktop/mate-session-manager/issues/134
Created attachment 350607 [details] [review] autostart: Set NoDisplay=true This hides the autostart from Ubuntu's Startup Applications app since we don't want users to easily disable this without understanding why it's there.
