Thanks for taking the time to report this.

What specific version of gnome-calendar are you using and where did you get it from?

I upgraded to ubuntu gnome 17.04

Version of gnome-calendar is 3.24.0-0ubuntu1

I would love to attach the crash report /var/crash/_usr_bin_gnome-calendar.1000.crash but it is 24,5 MB

I think I'm getting the same issue on Arch Linux. If I try to open gnome-calendar from the overview, it will display for a few seconds before segfaulting. I'm also seeing it segfault periodically without me opening it in the logs. Maybe an issue with dbus activation? This is with the version in the testing repo, which appears to be built from commit 68ce21e641d56bca24bceb9cd94cf0cc286ecb22.[1]

After building the package with debug symbols, I think the crash happens at gcal-manager.c:1223 if I'm using gdb right.

Actually, I think this was fixed already in c5772f994e90a5d5ec7d2648243314b4a92bba80.

I'll release GNOME Calendar 3.24.1 today or tomorrow, could you please check after that?
