TextTool: Antialiasing option alters pixels color
Last modified: 2017-04-20 16:33:01 UTC
Created attachment 350031 [details] example of text without and with antialiasing option (right, expected rendering) When using the antiliasing option in the TextTool, we can observe that semi-transparent pixels (at the border of letters) have a different color compared to full opaque pixels (inside the letters).
I think this is a duplicate of the bug about broken global fontconfig settings, but it looks a bit different. What happened to this old bug, I don't find it...
Bug 657047? There was also a similar issue (or maybe the same actually) caused by a third party package called fontconfig-infinality. Do you have this installed by any chance? See bug 708052.
(In reply to Michael Natterer from comment #1) > I think this is a duplicate of the bug about broken global fontconfig > settings, but it looks a bit different. Indeed, duplicate of Bug 657047 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 657047 ***
