When using the antiliasing option in the TextTool, we can observe that semi-transparent pixels (at the border of letters) have a different color compared to full opaque pixels (inside the letters).

I think this is a duplicate of the bug about broken global fontconfig
settings, but it looks a bit different.

What happened to this old bug, I don't find it...

There was also a similar issue (or maybe the same actually) caused by a third party package called fontconfig-infinality. Do you have this installed by any chance? See bug 708052.
