GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 781160
meson gst-uninstalled.py does not work on macOS
Last modified: 2018-09-25 23:07:57 UTC
It assumes that mesoninstrospect is in python, but on the homebrew installation, it's a shell script that sets the PYTHONPATH before calling into python. With patch
Created attachment 349634 [details] [review] gst-uninstalled: mesonintrospect is not always a python program
Review of attachment 349634 [details] [review]: Hrm, this is gonna break on windows.
FYI, there is already a line that doesn't call python at line 87 (just one line about the one I patched). So I assume this works on Windows already (or that Windows is already broken)?
Is this still relevant with newer versions of Meson where "mesonintrospect" has been deprecated in favour of "meson introspect" ?
(In reply to Tim-Philipp Müller from comment #4) > Is this still relevant with newer versions of Meson where "mesonintrospect" > has been deprecated in favour of "meson introspect" ? And it's now been dropped even, so closing. Olivier can reopen if it's still relevant somehow.
