Description Chris Murphy 2017-04-04 01:18:34 UTC
gnome-clocks-3.24.0-1.fc26.x86_64

1. Click New
2. Search for utc

There are six options:
utc
UTC
UTC
UTC
UTC
UTC

None are UTC time zone (Universal Coordinated Time). The first one once selected, the Add button is not in focus, so I can't add it. The next four are all UTC, France with a time that's not UTC time, and UTC isn't a town in France near as I can tell. The last UTC option is in Malaysia, and also is not a town or city.

At first glance this might seem a duplicate of https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=692243 but that's to add UTC time support to Gnome Clocks. This bug is that when I search for utc, I'm getting ambiguous and incorrect results.

What I'd expect is that as I search for utc, instead of seeing merely five "UTC" options in the list, that they're more verbose about what they are.
