Description Vasily Pupkin 2017-04-02 18:06:08 UTC
Say I have these apps - App1, App2, App3.

App1 is focused, I press Alt-Tab, it switches to App2
I keep Alt, and press Tab again, it switches back to App1, not to App3
I can not get to App3 with Alt-Tab

Standalone mutter 3.22.3 (without gnome) on Fedora 25
Please let me know if I need to provide more information

it seems other tickets get replies, this one does not, did i place it correctly?
Comment 2 Vasily Pupkin 2017-04-12 17:20:40 UTC
Cycling windows backwards (Super-Shift-Tab) works! it goes App1->App2->App3->App1
Super-Tab only switches between App1 and App2

Its filed correctly, but probably not high up on anyones priority list. Plain mutter isn't really useful by itself, and is mostly used for developing libmutter.
Comment 4 GNOME Infrastructure Team 2021-07-05 13:47:31 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
