GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 780546
Six missing sound images
Last modified: 2021-06-09 16:30:07 UTC
Created attachment 348718 [details] Speaker test dialog with missing icon Icon missing in sound speaker test for mono bluetooth headset, see attached screenshot.
Altogether there are six sound icons missing: "audio-speaker-front-left-of-center-testing" "audio-speaker-front-left-of-center" "audio-speaker-front-right-of-center-testing" "audio-speaker-front-right-of-center", "audio-speaker-mono-testing" "audio-speaker-mono"
Icons used by the speaker test: https://git.gnome.org//browse/gnome-control-center/tree/panels/sound/gvc-speaker-test.c#n186 Icons shipped with the Sound panel: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-control-center/tree/panels/sound/data/icons/scalable/devices
a quick fix would be to use audio-speaker-center[-testing] for all the missing icons, either copying the current assets or using those icon names in the code.
Mono bluetooth headset shows an image now. This one seems to be fixed.
Jan-Michael, what distro release are you using?
Fedora Rawhide
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org. As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled). If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version, then please follow https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines and create a new bug report at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/ Thank you for your understanding and your help.
