GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 780378
Windows scaling parameter sets the wrong settings
Last modified: 2018-01-24 15:19:36 UTC
When tweaking a custom scaling factor in GNOME tweak tool, I noticed that the font size on GTK+2 applications were wrong. The solution is (got from #gtk+): - reset the the xsettings overrides set by gnome-tweak-tool (under org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xsettings in dconf-editor); - change the scaling-factor under org.gnome.desktop.interface I confirm that with these settings, I get correct font size both on GTK+2 and 3 applications. Apparently the automatic HiDPI detection in GNOME works fine as well. Only customization through the tweak tool doesn't. Thanks!
Looks like this is already reported in #741735. That bug report could definitely do with a better title :)
