GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 780338
Credentials expired on all accounts.
Last modified: 2017-04-21 08:36:38 UTC
Created attachment 348370 [details] screenshot Hello! I can not synchronize any account, I already tried eliminating each one, removed the key from the "Passwords" app, restarting and nothing. Any solution? Pd: Some have two-step verification enabled, some do not. GNOME Shell 3.20.4 Ubuntu GNOME 16.10
I am also hitting the same issue on GNOME 3.24 on Ubuntu 17.04. The following is visible in /var/log/syslog. I have both tried MS Exchange, IMAP/POP and the same issue is visible:
Apr 20 12:34:24 xxx-machine goa-daemon[2655]: Remote error from secret service: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name :1.24 was not provided by any .service files Apr 20 12:34:24 xxx-machine goa-daemon[2655]: secret_password_lookup_sync() failed: The name :1.24 was not provided by any .service files Apr 20 12:34:24 xxx-machine goa-daemon[2655]: Remote error from secret service: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name :1.24 was not provided by any .service files Apr 20 12:34:24 xxx-machine goa-daemon[2655]: secret_password_lookup_sync() failed: The name :1.24 was not provided by any .service files Apr 20 12:34:33 xxx-machine goa-daemon[2655]: Remote error from secret service: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name :1.24 was not provided by any .service files Apr 20 12:34:33 xxx-machine goa-daemon[2655]: secret_password_lookup_sync() failed: The name :1.24 was not provided by any .service files Apr 20 12:34:33 xxx-machine goa-daemon[2655]: Remote error from secret service: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name :1.24 was not provided by any .service files Apr 20 12:34:33 xxx-machine goa-daemon[2655]: secret_password_lookup_sync() failed: The name :1.24 was not provided by any .service files Apr 20 12:34:33 xxx-machine evolution[24805]: mail_backend_local_trash_expunge_done_cb: Failed to expunge local trash: Source 'MY_EMAIL' doesn't support prompt for credentials

Did you log out/in? If you did, then try rebooting the system and see if it helps.
Does Ubuntu use 'systemd --user'?
Does this give you any hints as to what might be wrong: https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/GnomeOnlineAccounts/Debugging ?
(In reply to Debarshi Ray from comment #3) > Does Ubuntu use 'systemd --user'? Yes, especially in Ubuntu 16.10 and higher.
