As of yesterday I noticed that rather than the notice which gave information on installing the connector and Firefox addon to connect to the GNOME Extensions site properly with one's GNOME installation, the following message is shown in its place:

Attempt to postMessage on disconnected port

Fixed in git master and will be available in next GNOME Shell integration browser extension version.
