GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 780208
hidpi stopped working in GDM
Last modified: 2017-04-24 09:23:02 UTC
Updated to GNOME 2.23.x and the hidpi in GDM stopped working, so everything is now super-tiny. Worked fine in GNOME 3.22. Once I log in, the shell and everything else looks as it should and is in regular size.
can you post some details about your display set up? maybe xrandr output ?
ehehehe, 3.23.x of course.
What kind of monitor do you have
It's the built in display on the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro-1370. The screen is 13 inch and the resolution is 3200x1800
Thanks!

Created attachment 350015 [details] [review] common: fix plugin whitelist for gdm The plugin names don't have a gsd- prefix, so the login screen is currently getting started with no plugins! This commit fixes that, and as a consequence, fixes hidpi scaling for the login screen.
Fixed in gnome-3-24 and master, thanks!
