Description Debarshi Ray 2017-03-15 14:08:49 UTC
With the new Online Accounts panel in GNOME 3.24 (bug 774222), when an account needs attention, one has to "open" it in the "show account" dialog, and then click "sign in". This opens a second dialog on top of "show account". We should probably reuse the pre-existing dialog.

This doesn't look so bad at the moment because in many cases, the second dialog might completely eclipse the first, so the user isn't aware of it. But depending on the UI and account type, it also might not. Hence we should address it.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
