Description Anders Jonsson 2017-03-09 23:46:19 UTC
Hi,
in the code there are five references to the website "filemanager-actions.org" and the support address <maintainer@filemanager-actions.org>.

I cannot access this site, and the e-mail address bounces, so I suspect these were changed incorrectly in the name change from nautilus-actions.

These are the files and lines in question:

src/api/fma-iio-provider.h:
* <ulink role="online-location" url="http://www.filemanager-actions.org/?q=node/377/">DES-EMA</ulink>

src/core/fma-about.c:
"website", "http://www.filemanager-actions.org",

src/io-desktop/fma-desktop-formats.c:
* http://www.filemanager-actions.org/?q=node/377

src/test/test-reader.c:
" or you may prefer to mail to <maintainer@filemanager-actions.org>.\n" ));

src/utils/console-utils.c:
"or you may prefer to mail to <maintainer@filemanager-actions.org>.\n" )));

The Maintainer of the Project has renamed it to point out that it now supports many file-managers (nautilus, nemo and caja so far) and sadly did not create a new web-presence yet. The old website is still online, and in a bad shape. It is also still referenced in the code page on github as well as is the release announcement, e.g http://www.compatdb.org/forums/topic/115853-filemanager-actions-34-is-out/

The old name Nautilus-Actions tool can still be found in the code descriptions, where it should be also already gone...

I really like this program and hope for a solution soon, as it is such an underestimated, powerful tool, which deserves better.
