Overlay map hidden

When one is scrolling to the button of a file and the overlay map hides, a black rectangle stays.

This happens if there is space between the last line and the bottom of the editor window.

I was able to reproduce the same issue.

How to reproduce:
1. Enable 'Show overview map' and 'Automatically hide overview map'
2. Open some file, and scroll to the bottom.
Or open some small file that shall leave enough space at the bottom as said by Peter Sonntag.
3. Do something that will make the overview visible.
4. Click on omnibar and leave the popover open until the overview map hides automatically.
Comment 2 Mohammed Sadiq 2017-03-13 07:15:07 UTC
Hm... This seems to happen for any kind of popover kept open. Not just omnibar

forgot to add that I'm on X11 with gnome-shell. And the build is jhbuild from git master.

Thanks

This is a rendering glitch caused by insufficient invalidation. It could possibly be related to our workarounds to make textview resizing faster.
