GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 779465
Incorrect import PSD-file format
Last modified: 2018-05-27 10:32:25 UTC
Created attachment 347043 [details] Original PSD file PSD sprite imports without correct transparency. The Correct transparency should be like this: http://i66.tinypic.com/n4jf2x.png But it imports like this: http://i63.tinypic.com/1ixtaa.png XNViewMP can open it correctly, as online service photopea.com
ScreenShot of Imported PSD: http://oi63.tinypic.com/1ixtaa.jpg
How many layers originally do you have there? Is it the default Background layer + another layer?
I think there is only one layer with partial transparency (This file is a part of tutorial Unity project "Live Training 5th September 2016 - Creating a Main Menu".
What is my next step? I cannot change status to "Unconfirmed".
The partial transparency seems to be in the additional "Alpha1" channel this file has.
2.9.6 also has this issue.
This image http://oi63.tinypic.com/1ixtaa.jpg is not there, or it just appears plain white. Can you attach both images to this bug please (*not* link them). Also, there were some PSD changes recentls, can you check if 2.9.8 loads it correctly?
2.9.8 also load it without transperency (It loads it with only one layer and it has alpha channel). Sorry, but I cannot find how to attach images here.
Created attachment 366198 [details] SF Window.psd opened in Gimp (No transparency here)
Created attachment 366199 [details] SF Window.psd opened in Unity (Transparency in center area)
What should I do next? How to change status? Or do you still need info?
Adding links to the tutorial mentioned and its assets: https://unity3d.com/de/learn/tutorials/topics/user-interface-ui/creating-main-menu https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/essentials/unity-samples-ui-25468 (might require a login) Do you have a screenshot of the original PSD layer and channel structure, including any possible special modes for either?
Created attachment 368926 [details] SF Window.psd opened in Photoshop There is only one layer with some effects. I don't know what 'effect' is, but I think it is the transparency.
