Comment 1 Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2002-04-07 16:09:42 UTC
I have a feeling that this is not a bug, and that it is working as
expected. That said, the nautilus sidebar really needs some work
(probably a whole new ui) and should probably be more like the mozilla
or evolution sidebars. but theres another bug for that somewhere.
Comment 2 John Fleck 2002-04-07 19:08:41 UTC
I can't duplicate this. Linux, cvs build from today (April 7)
Comment 3 Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2002-04-08 03:57:12 UTC
I recreated it from nautilus ximian packages from saturday
(april 6)

1. click on the history tab
2. history expands
3. click on the empty space where the history tab had been in the
bottom tabs.
4. history will minimize.

I assume that's what the reporter is saying. However this is probably
behaving as expected.
Comment 4 Luis Villa 2002-04-10 01:10:54 UTC
This is /incredibly/ minor, but yeah, it's unexpected enough from the
'correct' behavior that it is a bug. Dave, I know you just rewrote all
of this to make it acessible and the like- when that gets applied,
will this be fixed?
Comment 5 Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2002-04-17 00:21:12 UTC
louie:
This is not a bug, it is by design see bug 43538.

we have to choices either this is notabug and bug 43538 is won't fix.
or this is a but and 43538 is won't fix. need a decision on this.
Comment 6 Luis Villa 2002-04-22 05:36:10 UTC
So, I closed the other one, because it is fixed. This is may or may
not be a bug. cc'ing nils and seth to see if they have any thoughts on
what the 'expected' behavior should be.
Comment 7 Dave Camp 2002-09-25 19:25:06 UTC
This is no longer an issue with the new side pane widget.
Comment 8 Mamatha 2002-10-10 08:57:49 UTC
I verified in Build 11 - Tue Oct 1 13:26:01 BST 2002
