Procedure:
1. Open Nautilus
2. Open a folder which contains pictures files.
3. Move the mouse cursor near the file Thumbnails are previewed
4. Under edit -> preferences -> Speed trade off -> "Dont Make thumbnails 
for files larger than". Make a change in it.

All the thumb nails are gone/vanished
