GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 778986
Mouse cursor invisible when using wayland session
Last modified: 2017-02-20 22:30:58 UTC
When using the GNOME magnifier (Zoom) in a Wayland session or on GDM the mouse cursor is invisible, the cursor is still present and with some care and guess work you can interact with clickable elements. To reproduce: 1. When on the GDM login screen press Supper + Alt + 8 to activate the magnifier and observe that it is invisible. or 2. From GDM select the GNOME Wayland session option and login. 3. Press Supper + Alt + 8 to activate the magnifier and observe that it is invisible. Tested on GNOME 3.22.3 on Arch Linux Using an Intel 6th generation NUC.
