Description el 2017-02-18 17:03:55 UTC
On my laptop, middle click paste still works despite "Middle-click Paste" set to "Off" in gnome-tweak-tool. Since I always use this "feature" on accident, this is very undesirable.

Is this about X or about Wayland as the backend?
Comment 2 Florian Müllner 2017-02-18 17:55:04 UTC
I suspect you are using the wayland session. In 3.22, tweak-tool used an XSetting to configure the "Middle-click Paste" option, which only works on X11. See bug 775847 for the 3.24 fix.

Ah that explains it. I am indeed using a Wayland session! Sorry for the duplicate
