Description Curtis Gibby 2017-02-14 17:19:34 UTC
The keyboard shortcut to Archive a conversation "a" should be the same as Gmail's, which is the letter "y". When I go back and forth between Geary and Gmail, my muscle memory sometimes makes me "y" in Geary, which has no effect, or hit "a" in Gmail, which accidentally opens a "reply all" window. It would be better if these shortcuts were consistent, and I could use "y" in Geary. (Keep the "a" or don't keep the "a", I don't care.)

We will be able to fix this once Bug 778740 lands.

Fix for this landing over in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/merge_requests/269
Comment 3 Michael Gratton 2019-11-20 16:20:16 UTC
NB, Gmail has moved on and is now using "e" for archive: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6594

So that's what the merge request above is doing.
