Description bitzer 2002-04-06 13:53:19 UTC
Package: gnome-panel
Severity: normal
Version: 2.0
Synopsis: annoying tooltip in menus
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel
Bugzilla-Component: Panel

Description:
The tooltip in gnome2 menus appears with very short delay,
and hides the menu item just below the one you r pointing at.
This conflicts with the way i "read the menu". I always move
the mousepointer down along as I read, but now i cant read
ahead to the next line, because its hidden by the tooltip that
pops up. I am sure i am not the only one reading menus this
way.
