>Class: sw-bug

>Description:
Gnome version with RedHat 7.2

Panel crashed at startup...

Error msg:

Application "panel" (process 1061) has crashed due to a fatal error.
(Segmentation fault)

>How-To-Repeat:
After installing RedHat and launching Gnome I placed the CD into the drive to browse contents.

OS immediatly locked-up: no Keyboard or mouse activity, couldn't even eject CD...

Performed power-down after 5 min and powered-up.
Let OS fix any errors found during start-up, logged in (as root), launched Gnome and pop goes the crash notification.
