Description Michael Gratton 2017-02-01 12:58:44 UTC
There's still some weirdness with expanding quotes in the conversation viewer after both the GTK/WK2 ports landed. Here's all the cases I know of right now:

 - The updated preferred size when expanding is not quite right and leads to a web view scrollbar being displayed
 - The collapse button sometimes obscures the content at the bottom of the quote
 - The size of the expanded quote is sometimes very wrong, so the preferred message size gets very large when expanding it
 - A quote block should only be made collapsable if the un-collapsed height is significantly larger than the collapsed height, e.g. don't make collapsable if there's only a small number of hidden lines.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
