Description brandon.milton21 2017-01-30 20:18:16 UTC
With certain vim colorschemes in terminal emulators using libvte (gnome-terminal, termite), vim's MatchParen feature makes the cursor disappear.

I have not done too much research into the issue, but I wanted to make sure it was recorded in the appropriate channels. I'm not entirely sure how VTE works or how this problem can be solved by a VTE change, but reporting regardless.

The issue is discussed in a vim-Molokai PR. There are also gifs which demonstrate the issue. https://github.com/tomasr/molokai/pull/44

I made a comment over there. I don't think there's any VTE issue here.
