GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 777548
Failed to connect to task list source error when opening To Do
Last modified: 2020-11-25 16:21:10 UTC
I am trying GNOME To Do for the first time, version 3.22.1-1.fc25. Each time I open the app, I receive a notification saying something failed. Clicking it, I see the following error: """ Failed to connect to task list source Unable to open 'Tasks': Cannot open calendar: Failed to obtain an access token for "tasks': Account is disabled """ I can see in the list view that it has prepopulated task lists for two of my three Google accounts. However, I have everything except Mail integration disabled in GNOME Online Accounts, so this is undesired and creepy. I presume the error message is related to my third Google account, which has all permissions disabled in Online Accounts and which I am keeping around there for no particular reason.
Also, there's no way to delete the two unwanted Google task lists. :(
(In reply to Michael Catanzaro from comment #1) > Also, there's no way to delete the two unwanted Google task lists. :( I see everything else about my to-do lists is synced with my Evolution tasks, which is pretty cool. However, Evolution does not display these remote to-do lists. It only displays the lists on my computer, which is what I want. I guess this might be two completely different bugs, but it sounds like it might also be different symptoms of the same underlying online accounts usage issue?
