wrong colours

Building epiphany works fine on my Apple G4 ppc system. But it is not able to render webpages correctly. Either the colours are wrong (see screenshot) or the page does not render at all but only shows funky characters (see screenshot).

I'm not surprised, since WebKit is only really tested on x86 and ARM. Since PPC is big-endian there's probably various endianness mistakes in WebKit that us little endians never notice. Anyway, it all needs to be fixed in WebKit. My canned message for that:

Thanks for taking the time to report this.
This issue is most likely a bug in WebKit. Please report the bug to https://bugs.webkit.org/ including a link to this bug report and noting the version of WebKitGTK+ that you have installed.

But be aware that it's unlikely that anyone will fix this. Someone with PPC is going to have to do some serious debugging. :(

Well, thanks anyway! I will give it a try at the webkit bugtracker as you suggested and hope there are loads of guys with PPC who enjoy doing some serious debugging. ;)
