GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 777277
gnome-tweak-tool "Show location of pointer" does not work under Wayland
Last modified: 2017-01-19 15:29:24 UTC
I have found that after switching from Xorg to Wayland via the login screen on Ubuntu GNOME 16.10 with GNOME 3.22 that the "Show location of pointer" gnome-tweak-tool option no longer functions in the sense that when the setting is on and I press CTRL nothing happens. I originally reported this issue here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1652179 But thought I should also do so upstream. Further system information is provided by Apport in the downstream report.
Thanks for taking the time to report this. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 690055 ***
