Operating System and Shotwell Version Details

Hi, I hope you can help and or advise on the following issue/problem I have.

On connecting the Iphone 5C via USB the connection is detected and the Iphone symbol appears. On launching Shotwell via the file manager the following error occurs

"Unable to fetch previews from the camera:Could not claim the USB device (-53)"

The system indicates that the Iphone is mounted.

The details are as follows

a) Shotwell version as per attachment

b) Operating system as per attachment

Any help or assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Ryszard Gradzki

That's the well-known issue that a camera is not accessible by shotwell/gphoto2 because it's already mounted by unity.

Please unmont the iPhone in the file manager, then it should be accessible in shotwell
