GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 777099
scaletempo: small glitches when playing faster
Last modified: 2018-11-03 15:15:53 UTC
When using totem to play CCC conference talks, I hear slightly robotic artifacts when playing at x1.1 speed, as if it went through a Daft Punk filter.
Do you have a link to a file/stream at hand ?
(In reply to Tim-Philipp Müller from comment #1) > Do you have a link to a file/stream at hand ? This happens with all the talks I used, ripped from YouTube with quvi (though the same happens if you download through youtube-dl or another tool). An example stream which you can youtube-dl to get an example file: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lO4TNnkN64A The 1.1 speed is set here: https://git.gnome.org/browse/totem/tree/src/plugins/variable-rate/totem-variable-rate-plugin.c#n65 And used here: https://git.gnome.org/browse/totem/tree/src/backend/bacon-video-widget.c#n6319
